She debut her carrier with the 1990 Superhit film No.20 Madras Mail.She did numerous films in Malayalam in the 90s mostly opposite second string heroes like Mukesh, Jagadeesh, and Siddique. Suchitra Malayalam actress was the Joint Secretary twice (1997-2000 & 2000-2003) in the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists AMMA. Suchitra was also as a celebrity judge in episodes of the popular reality show Idea Star Singer.
